The Balinese Girl
The Balinese Girl is a vintage-inspired graphic built around a striking archival portrait of a young Balinese girl in traditional ceremonial dress.
Her elaborate headdress, jewellery and patterned clothing are transformed through a distressed halftone treatment, with muted cream, charcoal and terracotta tones giving the artwork the feel of an old screen-printed image.
